Upcoming Wine Class with our Wine Manager, Peter Nelson! Wednesday, October 21st 6-8pm!
Cabernet Sauvignon and Friends with Peter Nelson
Love it or hate it, Cabernet is King!
Join us at The Block at Woods Hill for an evening exploring one of the world’s most celebrated red grapes. Discover where Cabernet Sauvignon’s story began, the regions producing exceptional wines, and what separates a $20 bottle from a $200 bottle.
Through a guided tasting with multiple pours, we’ll explore how climate, soil, and winemaking shape flavor, structure, and aging. You’ll also taste Cabernet Franc and other red varieties that offer similar flavors and characteristics while learning how to identify key tasting notes and pair bold reds with food.
Light snacks from Woods Hill Farm and our valued farming partners are included.
$125 per person | 6–8 PM
A cash bar will be open for wine, cocktails, and mocktails. Guests are encouraged to make dinner reservations at The Block following class.
